Residents have access 24/7 to a Wi-Fi room
The entrance to the Wi-Fi room is at the bottom of the Town Hall parking lot, where you'll find the Wi-Fi room equipped with a workspace and a toilet. This room is accessible 24/7, free of charge.
Also functional in the event of a power failure.

Fibre Argenteuil: High-speed Internet service
Wentworth residents have access to high-speed Internet service thanks to fiber optics.
Fibre Argenteuil is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate, provide and maintain telecommunication services, with a focus on access to high speed internet, to as many residents as possible across the MRC d’Argenteuil
Apply for a Permit
Before undertaking construction or renovation work or in the shoreline protection band (Lakes, wetlands, streams and intermittent watercourses), please contact the municipality to obtain all the necessary information needed to complete your project and take an appointment if a permit is required. Some permit applications are available online.
Dog Owner Information
Valid License
All dog owners must obtain a valid license. Each year, in June, you must renew your license.
Dog Park
Dog owners can enjoy the Lac Grace dog park, open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The municipality will provide any homeowner who so requests:
- One (1) 240-litre or 360-litre green wheeled bin at the owner's expense;
- Two (2) 360-litre recuperation bins (free of charge);
- One (1) kitchen compost bin (free of charge);
- One (1) home composter at the owner's expense.

The Township of Wentworth offers community composters throughout its territory. You can find them at the following locations
- Municipal garage - 114 chemin Louisa (adjacent to the fire hall)
- Intersection of Dunany and Boyd roads
- Intersection of Glen and des Oreilles-d'Ours roads
- Intersection of Acres and Lac Louisa Sud roads
- Intersection of Elizabeth and Matthew streets

The Township of Wentworth's actions to preserve water quality
The Municipal Council wants to ensure the maintenance of water quality on its territory. Scientific studies have shown that invasive species or aquatic exotic invasive plants (AEIP) can cause considerable damage to the flora, fauna, water quality, public health, wharves, buoys, watercrafts, dams, meaning they constitute a direct threat to the maintenance of water quality.
Mandatory washing
Before launching, all users must wash their boat, its engine, its trailer and all accessories. We also recommend that you wash your boat when you leave.
Boat wash and municipal landing
A boat wash is available at the fire station at 116 chemin Louisa.
On Giles Road, you'll find a municipal landing for access to Lac Louisa. For further details, please contact the municipality.

Wild Trust The WILD social utility trust (SUT) – Wentworth Investment in Legacy Development – was born out of the desire of the citizens of Wentworth to preserve their way of life close to nature, in a rich and protected environment where biodiversity thrives. Our mandate is to assess natural habitats, invest in targeted conservation projects and contribute to community awareness, notably through the development of a network of trails and environmental education. Our land acquisition and donation policy will also serve to ensure the sustainability of our conservation efforts. |
