Opening Municipal Roads
In September 2022, the Township of Wentworth adopted the policy of opening municipal roads.
The opening of municipal roads offers undeniable advantages to property owners, such as a reduction in annual maintenance costs (e.g. snow removal, grading, dust control, etc.), as well as an improvement in the safety of citizens through better access to residences by emergency services.
The purpose of the Municipal Road Opening Policy is to clarify the various steps and requirements in this regard. Citizens can now print the petition, have it signed and present it at a Council meeting.
